Twizzlers
We would love to give our readers a little background to our engagement..
Friday evening, July 28th 2006 was an ordinary happy day, we had just gotten out of work and we were ready for a exciting weekend camping trip with friends!
Jer had told me earlier in the week he had a surprise for me and so I was so good all week about not asking what the surprise was.
So, Friday evening comes and I am beside myself with excitement because I think I know what the surprise is (a Big Bag of Red Twizzlers to take on the camping trip!). So, I tell Jer, " I have been so good all week, I have not asked for my surprise at all." I am thinking that he will be so proud of me, so maybe he will clue me in on the surprise, hehe.
Sure enough, Jer rushed to get the surprise and came into my apartment (holding the surprise behind his back) and was so nervous (twitching, sweaty palms.. etc.)! I am thinking to myself, it is just a bag of Twizzlers, what is the big deal?!
So Jer goes down on one knee and proposes!! Okay, this was a lot better than twizzlers!!
